The garden and beyond

My photography has taken me outdoors again. I have looked at nature close to home; I have gone on bush walks; and I have visited gardens that are open to the public.

Gardens are often works of art in their own right. Gardens created in a naturalistic style appeal to me the most. Whilst designed, they feel ‘painterly’ and almost wilder, more textured and diverse than the ‘wild’ countryside.

Where I found water, in a stream or pond, the reflection caught my eye.
