Beauty makes me happy. I observe and am enchanted by the elegance and colours of small things like leaves, flowers, trees or rocks and, equally, the vastness of a particular place which makes us feel small by comparison. I want to capture both the power and the beauty of it and cry out: “look!, look!”.
 
Everything that truly has value is also vulnerable. It is easy to overlook what really matters. Simplicity, simple beauty and small happiness are important; living attentively in the present so that we can give our surroundings the attention and care they deserve.
