I draw inspiration from things I deeply care about. My work is informed by the interconnectedness of nature and natural phenomena: the tides, wind, water, the seasons, the sun, impermanence. I feel profoundly connected with my natural surroundings. The work I create is a tribute to the breathtaking landscapes and natural shapes and colours that simply are, without needing more.
I believe in showing beauty that is often in small things, right before our eyes, because that is what makes me happy. Maybe my photographs help people notice something special. With that I mean simplicity, a sense of peace, a tiny common place shared by humanity.
